About

The person behind Conard Technologies.

Hi — I'm Isaac. Conard Technologies is my one-person studio for building AI-powered applications and rapid prototypes.

I've been in tech since I was about seven years old, when I got my hands on an Apple computer. From there it was repairing Windows machines and being the person everyone called when their computer misbehaved. That turned into a career: healthcare IT that took me through just about every hospital and doctor's office in Kansas City, six years running IT for a nonprofit, and now cybersecurity engineering at Zoom.

At Zoom I use AI for almost everything I do. Audit and compliance used to mean spreadsheets and VLOOKUPs. I stopped doing that. I automated it — scripts for the work that used to eat my week. That habit of replacing manual grind with something that runs is the same habit I bring to client projects.

Thirty-five years around computers — and a career spent keeping systems running for people who depend on them — teaches you that software only matters if it works on a Tuesday afternoon when something's on fire. A security background means I treat your data like it's under audit, because someday it might be.

AI is the first technology in a long time that excites me the way that first Apple did. And here's what I keep running into: businesses and people who would absolutely use it if they knew how — they just need someone to help them get there. That's what Conard Technologies is for. Most of what I build follows the same pattern: someone in the field takes photos, and AI turns them into structured documents a business can act on — estimates, insurance claims, inspection reports. I've built these tools for roofing, remodeling, property management, and legal work.

How I Work

Plain English

No jargon walls. I explain what I'm building, why, and what it costs in language you don't need a CS degree to follow.

Working Software

Every engagement ends with something deployed and running — not a slide deck of recommendations.

Right-Sized

You get one developer who knows your whole project, not a rotating team with an account manager in between.
